Donna L. Cappella // Assistant to the Director Donna Cappella has done most everything at DCTV including plunging the toilets and giving her ever ready opinion to budding and established filmmakers. She worked at premier partnership firms and got degrees from Ivy League and other institutions. In the spring of 2005, she traveled with Keiko Tsuno and Tracey Izatt to India to make the film, INDIA JOURNAL. Recently, she had brain surgery and can’t do all the things she used to do. But Jon and Keiko said “Come back.” and were very patient! She now helps ConnecTV raise money, Jon, Keiko and Matt with the Director’s Guild and John Kaplan with his Festival Work. Donna wants everyone to know that she didn’t know what it meant to be disabled until she was, all disabled people are different, and people shouldn’t treat disabled people like they are not there.
