Jennifer Long // Web/Print Designer & Online Producer Likes: Guerilla Art Actions, Moist Food Dislikes: Sloppy Coding, Bike Locks Jennifer Long is a web/print designer and online producer. A native of Half Moon Bay, CA – she re-located to a large North-Eastern city upon graduation from UC Santa Cruz in search of interactive dynamism as a means to pay the rent. Long worked for PBS’s P.O.V. documentary series in their interactive department. She worked on the first online documentary series, Borders, which won a Webby Award. Upon hearing about the wonders of DCTV, she then signed on to re-design their web site. By 2003, she was designing all the print and web materials for DCTV, fully entrenched in the DCTV family, as the resident Art Director. Currently, she is working at MTV on the Video Music Awards web site. In addition to her work as a designer, she taught basic and intermediate web design in Spanish with World Link in the Dominican Republic. Jennifer Long lives in the city of New York in a tiny eastern village.
