With the advance of technology so rapid, today’s $6000 camera can be yesterday’s news. So why spend thousands of dollars on production equipment when you can rent from DCTV?

DCTV Rentals is unlike any other rental house in New York City. Because we are a non-profit organization, we can offer rental prices far below any for-profit facility. Plus, DCTV is the only rental house that does not require clients to spend thousands of dollars on production insurance. Finally, the independent producer has access to the same quality cameras, lighting & audio gear offered to big production companies at big rental houses for just a fraction of the cost.

DCTV Rentals is open 7 days a week, making weekend pick-ups and returns more convenient than ever.

FALL HOLIDAY CLOSING:
Columbus Day:
Monday, Oct. 13th
Thanksgiving Observance:
Saturday, Dec. 20th – Thursday, Jan. 1st
Winter Holidays Observance:
Saturday, Dec. 20th – Thursday, Jan. 1st

EQUIPMENT CHECK IN/OUT PERIODS:
AM CHECK IN/OUT: 10:00AM – 11:30AM
PM CHECK IN/OUT: 4:00PM – 6:00PM

RENTALS CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation of an equipment reservation less than 48-hours from scheduled check-out time will result in a $50 Cancellation Fee.

CONVENIENCE & LATE CHARGES:
Transactions taking place outside of designated Equipment Check In/Out Times will incur convenience charges. Late returns will also incur late charges. DCTV reserves the right to refuse any transaction outside of daily Check-In/Out periods for any reason. We are located in the Historic Engine Company 31 Firehouse at the nexis of Chinatown/Tribeca/City Hall.

By Subway:
N,R,Q,W,6 Trains to Canal Street Stop.

By Bus:
M1 or M6 Bus to Canal Street & Broadway.

By Foot/Car:
On the East Side of Lafayette Street between Walker Street & White Street.
